The sun set down the mountains,
Yet he was still not there...
Beside her.
She start to wonder where he was..
What he was doing..
What he was feeling..
She was in such deep thought
That she had lost the only moment in perception of the sun's last glow
Before it could disappear..
She closed her eyes
And put her clamped her hands
Against her chest..
She savoured the solitude
And the depression
The one moment had brought to her...
She closed her eyes tightly,
clamped her hands stiffly,
and tears fell from her eyes without her consent.
"Krista?" an appeasing voice said
and she saw him,
with penitence in his eyes.
She stood up,
and he embraced her
with love, stronger than anything else in the world.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't able to join you
in your sunset activity." he said.
"It's okay..." she replied.
"I wasn't even able to see it, too."
"Oh, so you didn't come here
when the sun set?" he asked.
"Please don't let me explain anymore."
she sighed.
"Okay...
but I just want you to know
that what I'm looking at right now
is far more better than any other sunset..."
"What do you mean?"
she asked, as she looked into the horizon, seeing nothing
but the moon.
"The sun's gone." she continued.
He chuckled confidently.
"It's you.
You're brighter than any other sun in the universe.
You glow longer than the sun does.
You're my sun..
You're my...
light...."
